IHCC & PRECISE Conference Highlights: A New Era of Global Healthcare
The International Health Cohorts Consortium’s (IHCC’s) three-day joint conference with Precision Health Research, Singapore (PRECISE), which took place in August of this year, brought together the best minds in the genomics field and provided a significant platform for networking and the exchange of cutting-edge ideas.
Titled ‘From Cohorts to Clinics: The New Landscape of Global Healthcare,’ the conference showcased the successful collaboration between IHCC and PRECISE, emphasizing opportunities for growth and advancement in the field.
Attendance in particular was consistently high from the first day through to Day three’s final session. Early Career Investigators (ECIs) garnered enthusiastic responses during their oral presentations, particularly in the lively Q&A segments that followed.
Our lineup of esteemed expert speakers delivered captivating and thought-provoking presentations on innovative and forward-thinking subjects, sparking enriching dialogues among participants. Furthermore, the choice of Singapore as the conference venue proved to be exceptionally fitting—an urban metropolis that epitomizes the forefront of technological advancements, healthcare systems, and cutting-edge facilities. Singapore has prioritized precision medicine as a key national initiative, demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering events like these, and hopefully more for the future.
IHCC was incredibly fortunate to partner with PRECISE. Their stellar reputation, highly knowledgeable team, and deep expertise in precision medicine, combined with their extensive network and alignment with IHCC’s goals, fostered a truly synergistic partnership. This collaborative spirit proved invaluable, not just during the conference itself, but also in the meticulous planning and execution phases. We are confident that this fruitful partnership will extend far beyond this successful event and lead to future collaborations.
