Dr. Lopez-Correa is Executive Director of the Canadian COVID19 Genomics Network (CanCOGen) with Genome Canada. In this capacity, she is coordinating efforts across Canada to sequence human and viral genomes and use the data to help shape policy and public health decisions. Before CanCOGEn Dr. Lopez-Correa held senior positions with Rutan N Medellin, Genome British Columbia, Genome Quebec, Eli Lilly and deCODE Genetics where she was instrumental in supporting and developing research and innovation initiatives to solve the global challenges.
