Free Online Course - Interpreting Genomic Variation: Overcoming Challenges in Diverse Populations

Join the team at Wellcome Connecting Science for a free online course Interpreting Genomic Variation: Overcoming Challenges in Diverse Populations. This course has been designed to support scientists in strengthening their knowledge of how to classify and interpret genomic variants.

Going live from 25 June 2024, this three-week course is delivered by experts in the field including Amanda Krause (South Africa), Girisha Katta (India), Julia Foreman (UK) and Zané Lombard (South Africa). During this time, you will be able to interact with our educators and other learners (through the FutureLearn platform), and exchange experiences with experts in the field. Once you join, you have 12 months to complete the course. 

This is an excellent opportunity for researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals, to benefit from free training in how to use the latest tools and technologies, including genome browsers, such as DECIPHER, to classify and interpret genomic variants in their biological or clinical contexts.
