As part of the ongoing efforts to align the programs of the Global Genomic Medicine Collaborative (GGMC) — G2MC and IHCC — the Implementation Working Group has been renamed the Member Projects Working Group, and is now a part of the GGMC core working groups, operating across both of GGMC’s programs.
This group recently met to refine the Project Support Request Form, a key tool designed to help members of both G2MC and IHCC access resources and support for their genomic medicine and health sciences projects. The form is being developed to encompass a wide range of project types, including both clinical implementation and population cohort research. By providing a clear framework for articulating project needs, the form will help connect members with relevant expertise and foster valuable collaborations within the global genomic medicine community.
The group also discussed strategies for cohort development and collaboration, highlighting existing resources such as the IHCC Data Atlas and member survey.
Stay tuned for updates on the beta testing phase and official launch of the Project Navigator and Support Network, where project navigators will provide guidance and support to members seeking to advance their genomic medicine projects!
